Lydia Bright has candidly admitted to being “overwhelmed” as a single mother to her 16 month-old daughter, Loretta.

The former TOWIE star, who shares the sweet youngster with her former boyfriend Lee Cronin, made the admission during an Instagram Q&A on Sunday 18 July.

When asked by a fan how she found the experience of parenting alone, the 30 year old came clean about the “full-on” responsibility while sharing a snap of her and Loretta at the beach.

“It’s a big responsibility and at times overwhelming. Juggling being a full-time mum and working full time. But I am so proud of myself. Raising Loretta is my greatest ever achievement,” she wrote.

Lydia added: “I look at my little girl, and she makes my heart burst. She is funny, confident, smart, but most importantly, she is happy.”

The reality star has been very candid about motherhood, and recently opened up about her “very tough struggles” with loneliness and exhaustion.

“The newborn stage is beautiful but also very tough. I was home alone, during a pandemic with a screaming baby that wouldn’t settle,” she said during a recent social media update.

“I was exhausted, lonely and thinking how on earth am I going to do this by myself?”

Lydia met her ex Lee in June 2017, but they split in January 2019.

They later decided to get back together and try for a child, but Lee ended things 11 weeks into Lydia’s pregnancy.

Back in April 2020, the mum-of-one admitted that the pair had decided to “try to make a go of things” again, but later that year, they split for good.

She admitted before their split: “I’m just not worrying. You never know what the future will hold and while having this baby by myself initially was a big fear, I know now that I’m capable of doing it if it doesn’t work out.”

Lydia does have support from her former partner and previously revealed Lee sees his daughter “every weekend”.
