Love Island is back in full swing, and its fans’ interest in every part of the islanders’ lives and appearance is growing by the day.
Most of the islanders on season seven have tattoos, with Wigan native Danny Bibby and Bristol boy Jake taking first and second prize for the ‘most inked’ islander, with both having an impressive amount of studio hours put into their covered chests, backs and arms.
Liam Reardon has also shown off his leg tats, which feature a huge portrait of Frank Sinatra and a black and grey tribute to legendary boxer Mohammed Ali.
However, it’s another islander who’s caught the eye of viewers, who have been frantically trying to figure out what Londoner Aaron Francis’ inner bicep tattoo stands for.

The club promoter and model, 24, has a few tattoos, but the one which reads ‘Melita’ is the one people can’t figure out.
Many have suggested the script font tat could be linked to an ex-girlfriend, which could potentially cause a few raised eyebrows in the villa.
A segment in a recent episode of the show saw everyone winding down and getting ready for bed after an eventful day, and a shot showing Aaron chilling in his bed revealed his inner bicep ink after he raised his arm.

One person tweeted: “Are we going to talk about Aaron’s ‘Melita’ tattoo?? #LoveIsland“.
Whilst another fan of the show also chimed in on Twitter, asking: “Aaron who or what is Melita? #loveisland“
In true Love Island fan nature, many jumped to the conclusions but got their guess wrong.
So what does Melita stand for? Yes, it is a female name, but it thankfully isn’t a regretful ex tattoo.
It is actually the name of a late family member of Aaron, his grandmother Melita, who passed away when he was only 18.

Melita, who is Aaron’s maternal grandmother, lost a long battle with dementia and had “strong family values” according to a tribute written by Aaron’s sister.
The star has previously mentioned on the show that he’s very much a family man and definitely wants children of his own, telling Sharon Gaffka that he wants “at least four” kids.
His tattoo tribute to his nan only adds to the family man image.
Aaron’s sister, Serena, has a business named after her loved ones, called Melita Rose Candles.
Melita, again a tribute to her grandmother, and Rose is the name of Serena and Aaron’s mother.
The company can be found on Instagram @melitarose_candles and currently has over 1,200 followers.
On her business’ website, Serena writes: “Melita sadly passed away in November 2014 suffering a long battle with dementia.
“But the essence of her commitment to hard work, strong family values and love will always be imprinted within her family and every Melitarose candle.”
