Kate Moss Is The New Face Of Kim Kardashian’s Skims
Kate Moss is back to modelling with Kim Kardashian’s Skims. The supermodel has been announced the face of the brand’s latest campaign.
Kardashian revealed the news on Twitter. She tweeted: “I first met Kate in 2014 through Ricardo Tisci, and was instantly struck by her cheeky humour, authentic and classic beauty – we’ve been friends ever since!” Kardashian said in a press release. “She is THE fashion icon, defining a whole generation of style and I am honoured to feature her as the new face of SKIMS this Summer!”

The campaign shot by Donna Trope, shows the 47-year-old model rocking some of SKIMS’ best-selling designs, including the Cotton Rib Bralette and Brief as well as the Fits Everybody Scoop Neck bra. I’ve been a fan of SKIMS since day one,” said Moss in a press release. “What Kim is doing with the brand is so fresh and modern, making underwear women actually want and that fits perfectly. Moss added that even her mom wears SKIMS.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that SKIMS is set to design undergarments, pyjamas and loungewear for the athletes of the USA’s Olympics team.
Announcing the collaboration, Kardashian said, “Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honour being a part of the Olympics embodied. I travelled with my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meet of @caitlynjenner’s and at every stop, I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir.” Five Team USA athletes modelled the official garments in the announcement including basketball player A’ja Wilson, swimmer Haley Anderson and Paralympic sprinter Scout Bassett.
Kardashian launched KKW Beauty in 2018 and Skims in 2019 after the initial brand name Kimono was dropped following accusations of cultural appropriation. The brand sells underwear and loungewear in West’s minimalist style and has proven popular during work-from-home times.
