The 28 year old, who has five Olympic medals to his name in individual and team events, has given a sneak peek into his beautiful home that he shares with wife Leah Hickton and their adorable two year old daughter Willow.

Max, who is tipped to win gold with the pommel horse in the artistic gymnastics category, has revealed his neutral kitchen to his 214,000 followers.

The sportsman can be seen cooking pancakes as he also gave a peek into the gorgeous kitchen which boasts two ovens and an island featuring a gas hob.

Max also has a huge dining area with gorgeous natural wooden flooring and bi-folding doors to flood the room with natural light.

The dad-of-one also made the most of his surroundings during lockdown and can be seen using his plush grey sofa as he kept on top of his workouts.

Max also have a gorgeous garden and lawn area which flows beautifully from the house onto a large patio area – perfect for entertaining and playing with Willow.

Taking a look at the living area, we can see that Max and Leah have continued the neutral theme throughout their pad and have included a cream, fluffy rug along with a large gold mirror to create the illusion of more space.

Max has also converted his garage into the perfect place to practise and has fixed gymnastic rings to the ceiling along with a large black mat for floor routines.

Monday 26 July will see Max perform in the artistic gymnastics category at 11am. Monday will also see Tom Daley diving with Matty Lee in the synchro event from 7am on BBC1.

And don’t miss Today at the Games on BBC1 at 7.30pm for a round up including swimming, as Adam Peaty hopes to retain his men’s 100m breaststroke title.

It comes after this Games will see the debut of some new sports, with Karate, Skateboarding, Sport Climbing and Surfing all featuring for the first time.

Meanwhile it is an Olympics like no other. For a start Tokyo 2020 is taking place in 2021 and there’ll be no audiences allowed to view the competition.

And we still expect the Opening Ceremony on Friday 23 July to be a spectacle, even with singing banned and without the cheering crowds.
